Rockline Industries’ Springdale, AK manufacturing facility continues its exceptional safety record with another award from the Arkansas Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Division—this time for achieving four million safe working hours. The maker of wipes for contract manufacturing and private label clients received the award from state representatives this week.

“Achieving another safety milestone speaks to the attentiveness of Rockline’s people and the quality of the safety programs we have in place,” says general manager Joel Slank. “The health and safety of our employees is always a top priority for Rockline Industries and our success can be attributed to all of our employees who try every day to emphasize both individual and team safety.”

The award recognizes companies whose employees have accumulated four million work hours without a lost day away from work due to a work-related injury or illness. In September 2013, Rockline was recognized for reaching three million safe hours.

Contributing to Rockline’s success is its proactive behavioral-based safety program, which trains employees to observe work tasks and to provide immediate safety feedback to those involved. It also trains produciton team members to serve as safety coordinators who help improve training and communication at a smaller, teachable team level.
